USANA Health Sciences, Inc., a global nutritionals company that provides supplements to over 600 professional and Olympic athletes, congratulates three of its product-sponsored Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) players on a tremendous performance at the 2011 U.S. Open.
Australian player, Samantha Stosur, defeated Serena Williams in the finals to win the 2011 U.S. Open Singles title. American duo Liezel Huber and her partner Lisa Raymond won the women’s doubles championship, while Melanie Oudin and her partner Jack Sock, also Americans, won the mixed doubles event.
“Tennis can be unpredictable,” says Stosur, the first Australian woman to win a Grand Slam since 1980. “The only thing you can control is your own performance–making sure you train hard, eat right and get the proper supplementation.”
