Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Inc, died yesterday.
Let’s remember him with this commencement address he gave at Stanford University in 2005.

Several years ago I was working on a consumer safety project, one involving tampered products. I was able to hook up with the right people, get to the stores involved, communicate my concerns to the quality control people of the entity involved — and remove the product from store shelves so that shoppers would be safe. In a world pre-Internet that would have taken DAYS of legwork, calls and visits. Because of visionary men like Steve Jobs, we were all able to ‘work together’ and, keep people from unknowingly buying the tainted product. The kicker: we participants in this endeavor never met each other in person. All the people on the project did everything online. Amazing, and really performed a critical service – thank you Mr. Jobs!! Rest in peace.
