The Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location in Cedar Park will now be owned and operated by Sandor Gonzalez, who owns three other locations located in the San Antonio area.
“We are thrilled Sandor will be taking over this location,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “His attitude and energy is perfect for Dickey’s and his initial location has been a big hit with the community.”
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941. Dickey’s began franchising in 1994 and has grown at an exponential rate. By the end of 2011, Dickey’s is said to have 200 stores.
