School Of Rock Moves Its HQ To Chicago’s Burbs, Sets Sights On Growth

McDonald’s Corp. alum Chris Catalano has moved the headquarters of School of Rock, the after-school music program he heads, to Chicago’s suburbs.

The 14-year-old company, whose purpose is to “inspire kids to rock on stage and in life,” had been based in Teaneck, N.J., although Mr. Catalano, its CEO since 2010, lives in Hinsdale. It’s now in nearby Burr Ridge. “It was time to bring it here,” says the CEO, who has found a way to marry his love of music with his business expertise.
