The Little Caesars pizza restaurant chain plans to open here in the spring.
Watertown businessman and multiple co-franchisee Richard N. Jacobsen said Friday he plans to open the restaurant in May at the former Stewart’s Shops convenience store at 637 State St.
He said negotiations to finalize the opening aren’t yet complete. He and his partner, J.P. LeBlanc, Watertown, will lease the building from its owner, Morristown contractor Bernard Bertrand, whose workers have been renovating the 2,750-square-foot storefront-style structure in recent weeks.
