Manila Bulletin:

Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC), the exclusive local licensee of the globally-successful 7-Eleven convenience store chain, paid tribute to growing partnerships and top performing franchisees in the recent 7th Franchise Appreciation Day held at the World Trade Center.

The entire 7-Eleven franchise community turned out in droves at the event held to celebrate mutual partnerships and express gratitude for the loyal support accorded them over the years. With the theme, “Ready, Get Set, Grow,” PSC Business Development Manager Francis Medina said that the company is deeply thankful to all its franchisees as they took the chance to grow successfully with 7-Eleven.

PSC President Jose Victor Paterno, in his speech, shared the company’s growth leap platforms for the remaining quarter, as well as the onset of an exciting 2012 for 7-Eleven. Apart from continued expansion, PSC has initiated the first phase of the planned new look of all 7-Eleven stores in the country. According to Paterno, the store renovation will include the use of energy-efficient LED lighting and air-conditioning inverters, “at no extra cost for franchisees.”
