Dunkin’ Donuts Franchisee Plans 100 Stores In India In Five Years

Jubilant Foodworks Ltd., the franchisee of Dunkin’ Donuts and Domino’s Pizza in India, plans to open between 80 and 100 Dunkin’ Donuts stores in that country within the next five years.

According to FnBnews.com, the initial rollout will take place in metropolitan areas, with the first opening planned in Delhi next quarter.

As part of its expansion plan, Dunkin’ Donuts will design its menu to complement the tastes of the Indian consumer.

Dunkin’ Donuts signed an agreement with Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. a year ago. The terms called for the development, sub-franchising and operation of more than 500 units throughout India within the next 15 years.
