A national chain of walk-in clinics that says it wants to become as recognizable as McDonald’s plans to open new medical centers in Natick, Bellingham and 17 other Massachusetts locations.
The operators of the state’s sole existing Doctors Express in Springfield say their urgent care center has proven popular, with the new sites set to offer the same attraction of short wait times and night and weekend hours.
“We think there’s a great opportunity to bring this service to the people of the Boston area,†said Rick Crews, Springfield co-owner and the chain’s New England master franchisee.
