Jewellery Business Offers A Lot Of Charms

A lack of income after having separated from her husband and with three children to take care of, was the driver for Rhonda Thatcher to buy a rundown accessories business in the Melbourne suburb of Hampton in 2003. This decision put her on the path to becoming the No.1 franchisee in Australia for Danish jewellery designer and manufacturer, Pandora.

While Thatcher had successfully run her own recruitment business for many years, she knew re-entering that industry would leave her with little flexibility and she wanted to be present in her children’s lives.

She says what she didn’t realise is what a hard slog retail is.
