Casting Calls For Invention USA

By on March 23, 2012 in Featured / News

Want to show your invention to the world? History Channel’s Invention USA is looking for you.

There are just a few, but important steps, to apply for an interview by the show casting directors and the hosts of Invention USA, Reichart Von Wolfsheild and Garrett Lisi.

Most importantly, you must have a prototype. It can be a homemade or manufactured product, but it must be a working prototype.

The application is simple. Initially, the show just asked for your personal contact data and a general description of your invention – how it works and what it does – a photo, and a video, if you have one. Additionally it asks for the status of any patent or application you have in process.

A prototype?? well how do i make a prototype for a electronic device? Yes i have the schematic calculations to do this. But not the infrastructure to manufacture, good grief. I developed a Tricorder similar to the one Mr Spock used on the hit TV show. If a manufacture was to develop prototype in a licensed deal then, what do i need you for? In fact contract with manufacture probably would not allow me to demo on your show for security reasons anyways. By stating only prototyped submission only, you have just lessened possible entries by a large margin sheesh. ):
