The nation’s fastest-expanding restaurant, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, plans to open three locations in Greater Cincinnati by July. The local franchisee, Joe Carroll, said the first new store to open will be in Eastgate.
That store is scheduled to start serving burgers, french fries, hot dogs and sodas in the third week of May. Following the Eastgate location is a Newport on the Levee spot, opening in mid-June, and a Florence location, which is scheduled to open at the beginning of July.
“We’re opening three new stores fairly on top of one another,†Carroll said. “After Florence, we’ll look for another deal or two towards the end of the year.â€
