Ipswich husbands aren’t what they used to be around the house compared to their counterparts from 50 years ago.
A survey of 500 Australian women found the majority believed their husbands and partners were lacking in the home handyman department.
More than 70% of the women said the rise of technology-based careers over trades and plain old laziness were the main contributors to the handyman’s demise.
The survey also found three quarters of Australian women believed men were less handy today than 50 years ago.
It is something Karalee Hire-a-Hubby franchisee Peter Holmes has found in his day to day conversations with housewives.
