Fastway Couriers Helps In Aid Delivery

Franchising.net.au:

Regional franchisees in the Fastway Couriers network from Alboury, Melbourne and Adelaide have come to the aid of teachers and midwives in East Timor and Indonesia.

The franchisees have donated time and resources to help transport vital medical and educational supplies from the Victorian capital to Dawin, in support of the humanitarian tall-ship Vega, a historic Norwegian freighter.

Sail Vega is an organisation specialising in delivering aid packages to isolated island communities in East Timor and Indonesia during the south east monsoon season.

Spokesperson and volunteer for Sail Vega, Alexis Marsh, said the donation from Fastway means 24 boxes of supplies can be safely delivered.
