The time before a baby is born is a special time, but often expectant mothers don’t get an opportunity to relax.
For pregnant women, an hour spent relaxing on the massage table is a big deal.
Mothers who don’t have the time or cannot visit a day spa now are able to receive massages in their own home as Ripple Massage expands its mobile service on the Sunshine Coast.
Ripple Massage owner and mother Alison Shaw said she had identified the need for the in-home service and thought all mothers could benefit.
Ms Shaw said that while an abundance of massage service providers was available, few specialised in pregnancy massage or offered mobile services.
“We saw a real niche market for that,” Ms Shaw said.
