Jobs Still Down For July

By on August 3, 2012 in News

The Washington Post:

The nation’s smallest firms trimmed their staffs ever so slightly over the past few months, losing an average of 0.04 workers per company, according to a report released Thursday by the National Federation of Independent Business. While that’s not quite as big a hit as the 0.11 workers they reported losing in June, the July readings mark the second consecutive month in the red after six straight in which hiring remained flat or increased over the previous month.
