Pizza Hut franchisee NPC International Inc. boosted second-quarter sales, helped by special promotions and new products such as Cheesy Bites Pizza and the P’zolo stuffed sub sandwich.
Sales in restaurants that had been open at least a year jumped 5.1 percent, reversing the 2.8 percent decline of a year prior, Overland Park-based NPC said late Tuesday.
Helpful promotions NPC mentioned included the $10 Any Pizza carry-out deal and the $10 Dinner Box.
