Would this get you out of bed in the morning?

It’s just a concept for now, but regardless of federal laws on the matter, I think that this money shredder would be a money maker.

Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

    I doubt it would wake me up. I would have to put money in the machine first, and I wouldn’t willingly shred my cash (I do not wake up easily to alarms). I could see people using the alarm as a gag gift, though. That would make a fun birthday present for someone. :-)
