Metro Lyrics:

The price of grave-plots close to Michael Jackson’s tomb have already sky-rocketed since the King of Pop’s funeral.

A sales rep at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California, says plots around Jackson’s have already shot up by up to US$3,000 each.

Forest Lawn had been selling the plots in the mausoleum for US$7,000 each – but since Jackson was buried, they are now at least US$9,900.

That is just beyond morbid. Why would you pay so much money for a barial site just because it is next to a celebrity, it’s not like your going to be able to say to your friends after you die “hey i’m buried by michael jackson”! i mean come on. Your gone at that point, i really don’t think it matters what celebrity your buried by. And if it does matter to people who they are buried by, shouldn’t they want to be surrounded by all of their loved one’s instead of a perfect stranger?
