Today’s free business idea is to start a website that sells cupcake liners.

Cupcake liners are the sheets of thin paper pressed into a round, fluted cup shape. Liners can facilitate the easy removal of the cupcake from the tin after baking, keep the cupcake moister, and reduce the effort needed to clean the pan. The use of liners is also considered a more sanitary option when cupcakes are being passed from hand to hand. Like cupcake pans, several sizes of paper liners are available, from miniature to jumbo.

My wife, from whom most of ideas come, loves making cupcakes for special occasions, but she hates searching through hundreds of websites to find just the right liner for her special occasion.

You could either stock the liners yourself, enter into affiliate relationships with other websites that sell baking supplies, or go the drop shipping route. Whatever you choose, you won’t be hurting for customers, because cupcakes are big business.
