Plan: 1. Quit Job, 2. Win Lottery

By on November 6, 2012 in Ideas

According to a story in The Yakima Herald-Republic, Richard Foster had put in a two-week notice at his job in order to search for something better and was a bit concerned about taking care of his family while looking for a new job.

Then he popped into the Wolf Den Restaurant and felt an urge to use the four quarters in his pocket to buy a Lotto ticket.

Sunday, he asked his girlfriend to check the numbers as he read them aloud from the Lottery website. All matched. $380,000!

Foster slept with the ticket under his pillow that night. He told Lottery officials he plans to use the money to help his family, including his mother and daughter, who turned 10 on Monday.

Don’t you win first the lottery and than quit the job?
