Quality Cafe

What if I told you that there was a restaurant in Los Angeles, California that no longer serves eggs, bacon and toast to the likes of you and me, and now only serves big and small name Hollywood actors? Would you claim discrimination? This is not that kind of story.

Quality Cafe located at 1236 West 7th Street in Los Angeles, California closed as an actual functioning restaurant in 2006 but since that time has appeared in a number of Hollywood movies including: Training Day, Old School, Se7en, Ghost World, Gone in 60 Seconds,The Stepfather, and Catch Me If You Can. It was also featured in an episode of Mad Men.

Below are some screen grabs from various times the restaurant has appeared on film.

Interesting. The cafe isn’t even made to look different in each film. It must be the place’s non-descriptiveness that makes it ideal for any movie set.
