This is funny. I just received this email:
A premium domain LasVegasCruises.com is up for sale at $488 only. Since you own similar domains, we thought that you might be interested in acquiring this one as well. We are sending this email to several parties, and the first one to reply back will get the deal. If you are interested, please reply back soon.
Um, Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert. In what world does this domain name make any sense? Perhaps you could hold onto until California falls into the ocean?
Truthfully, there is a big reservoir called Lake Mead about 35 miles from Las Vegas, and it is possible that someone would want a domain name to market cruises on that body of water to Las Vegas visitors… in that case the $488 seems high to me.
