Hi Rich – That chicken dinner candy sounds gross. I was reading on another website a well ago that you can even get a tinned whole chicken – disgusting.

It’s a good thing those foods did flop…i really don’t think they would have done well ever. What is with the chicken food dinner candy bar?

Eww… Flower flavored PEZ? Celery flavored Jello? I want to know what they were thinking! All of the foods listed in this post sound like they would have been gross tasting. I wonder when they came out (and disappeared again).

The chicken dinner bar wasn’t actually made with chicken… It was a nut roll bar, and was produced during the great depression. It was a play on the saying “a chicken in every pot”.
