It’s a chance to enjoy a healthy, affordable, educational activity while learning more about the colourful history of Kentville.
New Minas entrepreneur Krista Morine is in her second year offering historic walking tours under her registered business name Knight Valley Tours. She hopes to someday evolve her operation into a vehicular tour and make it a full-time occupation.
The tours start in front of the Kings County Museum every Saturday in June, July and August starting at 7 p.m. Each tour takes roughly one and a half hours to complete and participants are urged to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
“It’s definitely a family thing,” Morine said. “If you can walk, you can do it.”
