Birmingham’s Kerry Grinkmeyer has turned his retirement into an opportunity to do all the things that he’s always wanted to do but never had the time for.
After selling his financial planning practice, Grinkmeyer is now using his entrepreneurial skills to develop The Christmas Web, a publishing company that produces a holiday book and gift set for families.
Grinkmeyer retired from his 12-year tenure at a top financial advisory firm in Birmingham to launch the business, which takes a family tradition and transforms it into a book he hopes will become a part of Christmas holidays nationwide.
“I wanted to take our family tradition that has created so many fond memories for my wife Nita and me, my kids and my grandchildren and share it with the world,” he said.
