Glastry Farm Ice-Cream in Kircubbin, Co Down turned to Invest Northern Ireland for help in developing an innovative product for a new business opportunity.
It had identified the opportunity from its knowledge of markets in Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The small company, a farm-based enterprise specialising in premium ice-cream and low-fat sorbets, wished to develop the first frozen dessert ice-cream to be produced in Northern Ireland and required expert advice and assistance to turn the idea into a commercial product.
