The Liftware spoon, is a new device that helps to stabilize the Parkinson’s patients’ tremors to enable them to eat with more dignity. The spoon has an embedded computer that analyzes the tremors and then moves the spoon in the opposite direction.
AJ has early Early Onset Parkinson’s Disease. He recently received Deep Brain Stimulation surgery (DBS) to implant a brain pacemaker that allows him to turn off his tremors with the flip of a switch.
