A Northumberland-born entrepreneur has returned to the UK from Australia – and brought her new business idea with her.
Entrepreneur Clare Robinson, who is originally from Morpeth and now lives near Berwick, will be launching Green Elephant Coaching (GEC) at Edinburgh Zoo in November.
Rather than elephants, the programme looks at chimpanzees and just how similar they are to humans, and how we can learn from them in the world of work. Aimed at managers and HR professionals, the Human Instincts at Work programme originated in Australia with founder and author Andrew O’Keeffe, who worked with international chimp expert Dr Jane Goodall. He is coming to the UK to back the launch of Ms Robinson’s business at Edinburgh Zoo.
Ms Robinson said: “I am very excited to bring this work to the UK as it has been successfully running in Australia for the past seven years, helping clients like National Australia Bank, Symantec and Thales.
