A fond memory of building Murphy beds and the need for a substantial income prompted Scott and Tess Morgan to begin a business model for a new Murphy bed outlet. On May 1st 1993, with a good dose of optimism and a box of tools, The Murphy Bed Trainers, LLC was launched.

What’s your background?
We have 23-plus years of experience in the wall bed industry. This includes all phases of design, sales, installation and dealership start-ups.

No, we saw a need and therefore created The Murphy Bed Trainers.
What were some of the challenges you faced when starting your franchise?
When we began our wall bed company we had no one to coach or mentor us through the startup phase. Now, as The Murphy Bed Trainers we are able to share our valuable experience in the industry with our new dealers.
What is one trend that really excites you?
The growing awareness of the practicality and quality of 21st century wall beds. Also the trend of home-based businesses and how this business model can complement so many lifestyles. Truly an entrepreneur’s dream!
