Why flowers? Kuepers worked in a floral shop in high school and college. She got the idea to start her business after handling the flowers for her sister’s wedding, and flowers are just something she’s always felt passionate about.

Fast forward to 2015, and Kuepers got her Master’s… but she didn’t exactly go into education. She now works full-time running Bloom Designs from her home in Brainerd Lakes, Minn.

With flowers from a warehouse in Minneapolis that features both Minnesota growers as well as exotic blooms from locations such as Holland and South America, Kuepers’ arrangements, bouquets and details are heavily infused with artisan flowers, romance and style. Besides offering a wide array of fresh flowers, Bloom Designs also offers full service event design, decor rental and planning packages.
