Boogie Beat Music and Movement, which is based in Cheddar, says it helps children to develop confidence, coordination and social skills while they learn to express themselves in a warm and relaxed environment.

The new group in Clevedon is the brainchild of founders Nicky Attwood and Lisa Langford, lifelong friends and colleagues who have been successfully running classes for many years, with regular weekly sessions, school workshops and birthday parties.

Nicky said: “Franchising is the best way for us to bring the fun and experience of Boogie Beat to more children.

“Each child is encouraged to play percussion instruments and to dance to a varied range of our own music from classical to modern.

“Even parents and carers join in with the fun.”

New franchisees Fran Yandall, of Langford and Rachel Yates, of Yatton, who both have two children, are excited about the new venture.
