Pasta Pane To Open In Former Applebee’s In Clifton Park

Bizjournals.com:

Saratoga Springs, N.Y., restaurateur David Zecchini will open a new restaurant in the former Applebee’s in Clifton Park.

Zecchini recently signed a long-term lease for the 5,100-square-foot venue located in front of Shopper’s World, said David Sussman, president of Windsor Development Group. He declined to release details about the lease agreement.

The restaurant and bistro, which Zecchini will call “Pasta Pane,” is his third. He also owns Chianti il Ristorante and Forno Bistro, both in Saratoga Springs.

Renovations at the Clifton Park location are underway. Zecchini plans to open late this year or early next year.

The former Applebee’s closed in late 2007. It was run by a franchisee, Apple North, based in Walkill.
