The Backwerk franchise system has opened its first location in the Netherlands.
The company has been active in Germany since 2001. The company announced recently that its first Dutch franchise began business in the town of Nijmegen on 17 March and is being run by franchisee, Andre Lankveld.
A new outlet has also opened its doors to the public in Dresden – the fourth shop in the city. The franchise business currently has more than 230 locations in Germany, Austria and Holland.
