Molly Maid Assists Domestic Violence Program

The Daily News Journal:

Local Molly Maid customers have been helping men and women in need and may not have known it.

Bill Foley, owner of Molly Maid of Rutherford County, said he’s been setting aside a portion of each payment for the Domestic Violence Program in Murfreesboro. Though October is Domestic Violence Month, Foley said it’s important for those who have been a victim of abuse to be helped year-round.

“Different shelters have different needs. Some want clothes, some need toiletries. I happened to talk with Deborah Johnson (director of the shelter in Murfreesboro) and she said their pillows often come up missing,” he said. “So many times (victims) come with nothing but the clothes on their back.”

Last week, Foley’s office donated more than 100 pillows to the shelter, mostly given by local residents.
