Silpada Designs Rep Featured In National Magazine

A south-side Des Moines woman graces the pages of the latest edition of Empowering Women magazine.

Tracey Klisares, a Des Moines native, is one of several Silpada Designs representatives featured in the magazine that spotlights national marketing and direct-sales companies.

The April edition featuring Klisares hit newsstands Tuesday.

“It really is quite an honor to be asked to be featured in their magazine,” said Klisares, 42. “They target direct sales companies from Avon to Tastefully Simple, on and on it goes. Silpada was selected for the second time, which is really a great thing.”

More than 27,000 Silpada Designs representatives sell the company’s handcrafted sterling silver jewelry. The company, founded in 1997 by two stay-at-home moms, has more than three million customers in the U.S. and Canada.

Klisares started with the company in June 2006 and the “star leader” now sponsors 33 women selling the products across the country.

She has achieved numerous Silpada Designs incentives, like all-expenses paid trips to Maui and New Mexico.
