Gile and Jhaveri are researching potential sites throughout downtown Chicago for their first location. The franchisees are interested in tapping into the downtown business district of Chicago known as “The Loop.” Gile, an MBA graduate of Harvard Business School, and Jhaveri were first introduced while managing all aspects of a large Dell fulfillment facility shipping over $13B worth of equipment each year with over 1,000 employees.

“We were very impressed by the growth rate of Sandella’s Flatbread. New stores are successfully popping up all over the country and also in the Middle East to great reviews, and we are confident we’ll be just as successful in Chicago,” says Jhaveri. “Chicago is cold eight months of the year and people want a healthy option that’s hearty, warm and delicious! Sandella’s low calorie, no trans-fat flatbreads offer exactly that – with a burst of flavor, taste, and quality gourmet ingredients.”

Sandella’s Flatbread Café is the largest flatbread concept in the world with more than 150 locations and almost 500 new restaurants in development across North America and the Middle East.
