Rockin Baja Lobster Moves Into Florida

Newport Beach, CA — Rockin’ Baja Lobster Restaurant and Beach Bar, the San Diego based chain of rockin’ fun Baja Mexico-style cantinas recently signed a multi-unit franchise deal with David Parton and Scott Gibbs to build five Rockin’ Baja Lobster restaurants throughout Charlotte, Collier, Lee, Monroe and Sarasota Counties. Parton and Gibbs plan to open their first restaurant in Naples by summer of 2007.

“I knew from the first moment that I stepped into a Rockin’ Baja Lobster restaurant that it would be a great concept for Southern Florida,? says Parton. “It is a fresh and unique idea that I know Floridians will enjoy.?

Parton and Gibbs are seasoned entrepreneurs. Gibbs currently owns Cocomo’s restaurant in Marco Island and Parton recently sold his home improvement company based out of Atlanta, Ga.
