Smoothie Factory, a leader in today’s juice bar industry, today announced the company has signed a master franchise agreement for the country of India with Mr. Anil Khera, a prominent Indian businessman, to develop the brand throughout India. The first two stores under the agreement will open in Delhi, during the fourth quarter of 2012. The signing of the agreement marked the continuing expansion of the Smoothie Factory System internationally. Next month, Smoothie Factory plans to celebrate the opening of its first of many Middle East stores in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. With the opening in Delhi, Smoothie Factory will operate in 5 countries. Subsequently, Qatar, UAE, and Bahrain locations are scheduled to open in 2013.
