Petland Gets Top Franchise Ranking

Petland, which has a store in South Point, has been ranked among the top franchisers in the country by Entrepreneur Magazine.
‘Our goal at Petland is to always keep improving our animal husbandry systems, customer service and store presentation for our pets and for our customers,’ said Dwight Burk, operator of the Petland store at Westview Plaza in South Point, in a press release.

Overall, Petland Inc. ranked 192 in the 2007 Entrepreneur Franchise 500. Petland, which is headquartered in south central Ohio, was founded in 1967 and has more than 190 retail pet centers.
