Pizza, Subs Delicious; Save Room For Dessert

Order a large special pizza, a small white cheese pizza, cheese bread, 10 hot wings and 10 barbecued boneless wings just for appetizers, and expect to take home leftovers. Right? Not necessarily.

Marco’s Pizza seems too tempting to leave anything untouched.

That is the finding of a group of analysts, programming specialists and administrative assistants trying this new Madison eatery recently for the first time. The starters mentioned above simply teased appetites for a variety of sandwiches and salads.

Marco’s opened several weeks ago in the brand new Irwin Square shopping strip at the intersection of U.S. 72 and Nance Road in Madison. It is basically a take out and delivery restaurant, but a small dining area to one side seats about a dozen people. A group of 8 needs to be there when the door opens.
