Carlson Wagonlit has agencies in Clifton Park and Schenectady, N.Y.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates is a division of Minnesota-based The Travel Franchise Group (TTFG), the largest franchisor of travel agencies in North America.

The company is no longer associated with Carlson or Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a corporate travel management company. As a result, it’s rebranding itself and will soon announce its new name.

TTFG is a unit of Travel Acquisitions Group, which was formed in January 2008 when travel and hospitality giant Carlson sold its Carlson Leisure Group to a new management team.

This will be the latest name change for a company that began in 1888 as Ask Mr. Foster, the first travel agency in North America.
