The merger between Triarc Companies and Wendy’s International was completed in September 2008. According to the company, Roland Smith is the president and CEO, and a member of the company’s board of directors. Previously, Mr Smith was a director and CEO of Triarc Companies, and he was CEO of Arby’s Restaurant Group from April 2006 to September 2008.
The company has confirmed Stephen Hare as senior vice president and CFO. Mr Hare was senior vice president and CFO of Triarc from September 2007 through September 2008. He also served as CFO of Arby’s Restaurant Group since June 2006.
David Karam has been confirmed as president of Wendy’s International. Mr Karam has been president of Wendy’s since September 2008. Previously, he served as the president of Cedar Enterprises, a 135-unit franchisee of Wendy’s that has operations in Las Vegas, San Antonio, Indianapolis, Seattle and Connecticut since 1989.
Thomas Garrett has been appointed as president and CEO of Arby’s Restaurant Group. Mr Garrett was executive vice president and COO of Triarc from September 2007 through September 2008. Previously, he served as president and COO of Arby’s Restaurant Group. Read more.
