In addition, a passion for hard work, a vision for success and willingness to follow the system are necessary conditions for making good money from franchisee business.
This was stated by Brian Duckett, MD, Howarth Franchising, UK, at the Franchise India 20008, Asia’s largest franchise and retail show on Saturday in Delhi.
Speaking to room full of delegates, Duckett said that in a successful franchisee business model, the trademark is clear, owned and identified by the franchisor. This ensures that franchisee is buying an exclusive business, which must also be easily duplicated and easily learned.
Duckett further said that a good model should be profitable for both parties and the most important aspect of this model is that it gets business for the franchisee from the day one. Another important facet is that the logistics, an important part of business, is taken care of by the franchisor, who has a successful workable model making money, he added.
