PNS To Hold Seminar On Franchising

Perbadanan Nasional Bhd (PNS) is collaborating with the Franchise Academy, United Kingdom, to hold a two-day seminar on franchising for success at Ancasa Resort, Port Dickson, from January 14.

The aim is to support the development of franchise industry in Malaysia, with the seminar covering various aspects of the franchise business, including brands and branding, legal requirements and accreditation, operations and networking, PNS said in a statement today.

Speakers include professional franchise trainers from the UK like Renee Mackay and Richard Lambert while local speakers are PNS’ managing director Syed Kamarulzaman S.Z.K. Shahabudin, Universiti Pertanian Malaysia’s law lecturer Dr Zahira Mohd Ishan and Raslan Loong’s senior legal assistant Jeffrey Tan, it said.

PNS also said that it will be more aggressive in its efforts to produce more franchise brands in Malaysia this year.

To register for the seminar, contact PNS Franchise Service Centre at 03-26987800 by January 9. The fee is RM1,800 per person and this includes two nights of accommodation.
