In The Trenches: Pump It Up Franchisee Enjoys Helping Kids

Company and position: Pump It Up / Franchisee – Fort Myers

Why you chose this profession:
My wife and I wanted to be part of a business model that would not only provide entertainment for our family, but would also be something that would help build up the community. We wanted something that would be beneficial for families, since we have three children under the age of 10. This type of venue was lacking in Southwest Florida.

Long-term goals:
To raise my children in such a way that they will love God, themselves and others. If this is accomplished, I know that they will become very valuable members of society, will be good spouses and parents, and will be great citizens who will love this country.

As for Pump It Up, I would like to have a long-standing business that will create memories for many children that come through our facility. We want to maintain the core values we hold as a business so that down the road when today’s children have children, they will be able to say, “Let me take you to Pump It Up, a place that I used to love as a child when my parents took me.”

Short-term goals:
My goals this year are to live a healthier year for myself and to be able to spend more time with my family. This year I would like to take my family to Washington, D.C., and some other significant places that have relevance to American history and to show them in person some of the things we have talked about or seen on television as to why America is so great.
