Realogy Corporation, a global provider of real estate and relocation services, today announced the appointment of Charlie Young as president and CEO of ERA Franchise Systems LLC. Young succeeds beloved former president and CEO Brenda W. Casserly, who passed away on April 1 after a long and brave battle with cancer.
“As difficult as it is for us to lose a leader like Brenda, it is extremely reassuring to know that she strongly supported Charlie as her successor,” said Alex Perriello, president and CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group, to whom Young will now report. “I am confident that Charlie is up to the challenge of carrying on ERA’s ‘Always There For You’ legacy, as well as the continued strategic growth and development of the ERA franchise system. Young joined the ERA Real Estate executive team earlier this year as chief operating officer. In his new role, Young will be responsible for enhancing the ERA value proposition and the implementation of growth and profitability strategies for its member brokers across a 2,800-office network worldwide.
