The British & International Franchise Exhibition Proves There Is Still Business To Be Done

Franchise Key:

The recent British & International Franchise Exhibition, which attracted thousands of visitors, proved there are still many businesses making profits and expanding within the UK, and many people keen to take control of their future by investing in a franchise.

Held at Olympia, London, the exhibition was constantly abuzz with aspiring business owners looking for their next challenge.

Whether made redundant or just interested in changing their current position, many people were serious about finding their next career move at the event. One visitor, a banking trading software manager from Ruislip, said: “I am disillusioned with my work-life balance and am considering opening my own business. After hearing about this on the BBC, I decided to come along and find out more. It has been very interesting and has given me some good ideas.”

According to the organizers, more than 100 local and international companies exhibited and feedback confirmed a high quality of visitors and promising business leads. The free seminar series, which were hosted by the British Franchise Association and representatives of reputable franchise companies, were constantly filled with visitors who were keen to hear from franchisees, franchisors, solicitors, bank representatives and business advisors.

David Tuck, Franchise Sales Manager at Venture Marketing Group, organizers of The British & International Franchise Exhibition, believes the economic downturn is helping to increase awareness of the franchise business model, which contributed to the resounding success of the event.
