A local Portable on Demand Storage franchise on Thursday will mark the opening of a $1.2 million warehouse in Park City.
The opening coincides with the company’s three-year anniversary in the Wichita market.
Ed Azar opened the franchise April 15, 2006 and operated out of a temporary site until the 35,000-square-foot warehouse was finished in Park City.
The project was funded through an industrial revenue bond issued by Park City.
Customers pay a monthly fee to have the PODS devices stored in the warehouse and can have them delivered when they are ready. The Park City PODS has three drivers who are responsible for deliveries. Azar is the manager.
