Garden maintenance franchise Jim’s Mowing newest franchise owner has launched his business in Ashby-da-la-Zouch in Leicestershire. Franchise owner Gary Pagett previously worked as a computer analyst for over 20 years, however tired of working for other people, he decided to launch a Jim’s Mowing business.
Gary said: “I was fed-up of working within a company structure and I wanted to take control of my life rather than have it run for me so I looked into potential franchises. Jim’s has enabled me to earn more money and spend precious time with my two children and family. In previous jobs I also had to worry about the threat of redundancy and sharing my entrepreneurial aspirations with my boss. Now I don’t need to worry about the risk of redundancy and for the first time in my career I feel I have the freedom to regain complete control of my life.”
After finding out about Jim’s Mowing on the internet Gary contacted the head office team, who arranged a meeting and an initial three day training course. Gary commented: “I have always had a keen interest in the garden and was always at the beck and call of friends and family for any gardening needs. I was enthused about the training course and really excited by the prospect of learning how to run my own business.”
