As well as reaching its own 20th birthday this year, Tullamarine-based Mister Magnets, Australia’s largest manufacturer of promotional magnets, has just celebrated the making of its 100 millionth magnet.
A special birthday event was held at the company’s premises attended by Victoria’s Minister for Small Business, the Hon. Joe Helper MP, the Federal Member for Calwell, the Hon. Maria Vamvakinou MP, and the Mayor of the City of Hume, Councillor Jack Ogilvie.
The 100th magnet was part of a recent order by Jim’s Mowing franchisee Dean Treloar of Tralagon, and Minister Helper made a special presentation to Mr Treloar to mark the occasion.
“Congratulations to you Mister Magnets. I think it’s a terrific achievement,” Minister Helper said. “This company and this team make a significant contribution to the wellbeing of the small business sector in this state and nationally. It is important to recognise small business success and to acknowledge those entrepreneurs that lead to establish and invest in small businesses.”
